Evidence

Hearsay is an out of court statement offered for the truth of that statement.  If you are a defendant, you have a right to have no hearsay be presented in your case unless there is an exception that would allow that hearsay to be entered into evidence.  One such hearsay exception includes the use of testimonial v. non-testimonial hearsay.
